国际商务硕士(025400)培养方案基本信息
学科、专业简介:
为适应“十三五”期间我国经济社会发展对国际商务专门人才的迫切需求,提高国际商务人才的培养质量,教育部在2010年特设了国际商务硕士(MIB)专业学位,该专业学位是国家新设的惟一直接面向国际化的硕士学位。同年,经国务院学位办批准,广东外语外贸大学成为全国首批获国际商务硕士(MIB)专业学位研究生培养权和授予权的单位。迄今,广外MIB已经成功招收了八届学生,六届学生毕业并高质量就业。
广东外语外贸大学现拥有一大批具有国际商务专业知识背景的留学归国老师,伴随着学校国际化办学水平的不断提高,美欧知名院校的教师也纷纷来校任教。目前,国际商务硕士教育中心已组建了一支包括校内外、国内外学者和国际商务界精英人士在内的核心教学团队。同时,国际商务硕士教育中心依托于广东外语外贸大学国际经贸学院,已建立了包括广东振戎能源、凯路仕公司、广州国际会展中心、广发期货有限公司、民生银行、广东丝纺集团、广新控股集团在内的30多家重点实践实习基地。
一、培养目标
我校国际商务硕士培养的目标是:致力于培养适应经济全球化需要,胜任在政府部门、涉外企事业单位和社会团体从事国际商务运营与管理工作,具备良好商业道德,通晓现代商务理论,掌握国际商务技能,具有精湛外语水平和跨文化交流能力的“领航华南 商通全球”的国际商务领军人才。
1.注重与政府部门、企业等单位联合培养,凸显国际化、应用型和精英式的教育理念。
2.采用启发式和研讨式教学方法。授课内容理论联系实际,将课堂讲授、研讨、案例教学等多种形式有机结合起来,重视培养学生分析问题和解决问题的能力,并聘请实际部门具有丰富经验的专家讲课。
3.加强实践环节,建立实习基地。
4.成立导师组,建立“双导师制”。形成一支既有较高学术含量,又有深厚职业背景、丰富实践经验的导师队伍,包括具有国外教育背景的专家,具有相当学历的商务官员和企业精英等,促进导师队伍的多元化。

五、培养环节
国际商务硕士专业学位要求学生修满38。其中:学位公共课修满10学分,专业必修课修满12学分,专业选修课修满10学分,国际商务实践修满6学分。完成课程学习及实践环节,修满规定学分,通过学位论文答辩者,按照广东外语外贸大学研究生学籍管理和学位授予的相关规定授予国际商务硕士(MIB)专业学位,并颁发硕士研究生毕业证书。
六、培养方式
在培养方式上,广外大MIB突出“国际化培养 精英型教育”的培养特色,包括课程设置国际化、教师队伍国际化、培养方式国际化、授课方式国际化、学生考试方式的国际化以及学术选才精英化、授课教师精英化、实践指导团队精英化和培养标准精英化。

Programinformation
In order to meet the urgent needs of international business expertise for the economic and social development during the period of the 12th Five-Year Plan and to improve the quality of international business professionals, the Ministry of Education established Master of International Business (MIB) professional degree in 2010. This is the only newly-established master degree of international business. Inthe same year, approved by the Academic Degree Commission of the State Council, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies becamethe firstcohortof universities with the right to nurture MIB students and to grant professional degree.Up to 2018,MIB program centerhas successfully enrolled eightclasses, and six classes have graduated with high employment rate.
Having an army ofscholars with overseas education background of international business, Guangdong University of Foreign Studiesis developing very rapidlyin professional international teaching and attractsmanyforeign teachers fromwell-knownuniversitiesin America and Europe. So far, MIB program center has developeda core teaching teamcomposingofscholars at home and abroad, and international business elites.
Additionally,MIB program center, under the authority oftheSchool of International Trade and Economics, has established experimentaland practice base together with more than 30 organizations,including Guangdongzhenrong Energy Co., Guangzhou Cronus Bicycle Fashion Sports Co., Ltd,GuangzhouInternational Convention and ExhibitionCenter, Guangfa Futures Co., Ltd,China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd., Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation,GuangdongSilk-Tex Group Co., Ltd, Guangdong Guangxin Holdings Group Ltd.
Training objective
The Master of International Business (MIB) program inGDUFSendeavors to nurturing students who meet the needs of globalization. On completion of the program, the students will be very competent for international business operation and management work in government departments, foreign enterprises and NGOs.The objective of MIB is to help students becomeinterdisciplinary leaders in the field of international business with good business ethics. They shouldbe equipped withmodern business theories, international business skillsand outstandingabilities in English and cross-cultural communication.They will become leading international business talents.
Firstly, we advocate co-nurturinginternational business students together with government agents and industrial departments to highlight international, professional and elite educational concept.
Secondly, by adopting heuristic teaching and discussion approaches, we provide concise teaching content but highlight academic essences. We integrate theory with practice, focus on practical application and combine lectures, seminars, case studiesand other forms of social practices together. We also emphasize on nurturing students critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Furthermore, experienced experts will be regularly invited to give students lectures or seminars.
Thirdly, we reinforce the practical application perspective, and establish a variety of internship bases.
Fourthly, we establish "Dual tutorial system" with two tutors for each student. In order to improve the diversity of the teaching team, we recruit supervisors and tutors either with academic background or professional business background. Furthermore, expertsand business eliteswith overseas education background, international business government officials with high-level academic degree, and practical international business professionals should be invited as well.

Duration
Basic length of schooling is 2 years. The firsttwosemesters consist of class-study and extracurricular internship. Thethird andfourth semester consists of comprehensive internship and dissertation composition.

Graduation requirements
The total amount of credits required for MIB is38, among which,10for fundamental courses,12formandatorycourses,10foroptionalcoursesand 6for internship. Students are required to complete class study and internships, required credits, pass the thesis oral defense to be granted the graduate certificatesand master degree of International Businessaccording to GDUFS graduate academic status administration and degree awarding regulations.
